Adam Lallana is expected to sign a new contract at Liverpool within the next 24 hours, according to a report.

ESPN have claimed that the 28-year-old will sign a new three-year deal, which starts in the summer that has an option to be extended by a further year.

His new deal will see him earn £110,000-a-week.

Lallana has enjoyed a stellar season for the Reds this season and will be rewarded handsomely for his improved performances.

The former Southampton man has scored seven goals and bagged seven assists in 27 Premier League appearances this season to help Jurgen Klopp’s side make a serious challenge for a Champions League place.

The Reds are currently fifth in the league but a 2-0 win over Tottenham last week proved their top four credentials.

Philippe Coutinho and Joe Gomez have also recently committed their future to the club.

Lallana has made a total of 117 appearances for Liverpool and has scored 20 goals across all competitions since signing for the club from Southampton in 2014 for £25million.

The midfielder has become a crucial part of the England set up in recent years and has picked up 28 caps for his country since making his debut under Roy Hodgson in 2013.
