Report: PL giants eye 24-year-old attacker, Tottenham plot £25m swoop
By Dominic Toner
Manchester City are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha, according to a report.
The Sun claim that Pep Guardiola is planning a summer overhaul at City and has identified the 24-year-old as a potential target.
It is understood that Tottenham are also interested in Zaha and have been weighing up a £25million move for the attacker.
Zaha is enjoying his most impressive season in the top flight so far and has been one of Palace’s standout players.
The Ivory Coast international has made 29 appearances this campaign, scoring six goals and supplying nine assists in return.

He failed to cut the grade at United as a youngster, but has become an established Premier League player at Selhurst Park in recent seasons.
Zaha is recognised as a skilful winger with all the tricks in the books and has also thrived in a more advanced role under manager Sam Allardyce recently.
Football Insider verdict:
Spurs’ need for a new winger is arguably greater than City’s, with Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane currently in fantastic form at the Etihad Stadium. However, both clubs would be a great appeal for Zaha and it will be a considerable big step in his career if he moves away from Palace. The £25million price tag seems quite steep for a player that is only just proving himself in front of goal this season, but the potential is there for him to raise them if he plays with better players. Mauricio Pochettino is building a strong squad at White Hart Lane and Zaha would certainly enhance his options for next season.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club have terminated the contract of a defender.
