Report: Tottenham move for trio of summer deals - ready £105,000-a-week-plus offer for key man
Tottenham have started to make moves on securing a trio of new contract deals for three of their key figures which will be offered in summer, according to a report.
The Telegraph claim on their website that attacking duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane, as well as manager Mauricio Pochettino, are all set to see offers tabled by the club which, if signed, will see them commit their long term futures at the north London club.
It is said that there are a number of suitors for Pochettino’s signing this summer, including Champions League rivals Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain, but that Spurs are desperate to keep a hold of the Argentine manager, and will be looking to improve the terms of the deal he signed back in May 2016, which keep him tied to the club until 2021.
The report states that he is currently on a wage of £5.5million (£105,000-a-week) and that a new deal would see him in excess of that, while also suggesting that only Spanish giants Real could tempt the 46-year-old away from Spurs this summer.
Since arriving from Southampton back in 2014, Pochettino has taken charge of 202 games with the Lilywhites, winning 111 of those games and scoring 381 goals across the matches.
In other Tottenham news, Jermaine Jenas has said that a “very popular” Spurs star is replaceable and could be set for the exit.
