Tottenham and Manchester United are set to compete for the signature of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, according to a report.
The Daily Mirror claim that United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign the 17-year-old sensation, who took the Championship by storm last season.
It is understood that the teenager is yet to sign a professional deal at Craven Cottage and as a result a compensation fee of £15million is likely to be paid in order to sign him.
Sessegnon has enjoyed a breakout year for Fulham and was named in the EFL team of the season for his performances.
The Englishman is a left-back by trade and was also used further forward as a winger during times of the season.

He chipped in with seven goals across all competitions and has made a seamless transition into the senior set-up.
Sessegnon is being tipped to become a future senior England international and his development has caught the attention of England’s elite clubs.
Football Insider verdict:
Spurs should certainly fork out £15million for rising star Sessegnon who looks destined to reach the top. The versatile ace looks set to become a winger as he develops, but has begun his career as a left-back. Mauricio Pochettino has shown his willingness to promote youth during his time with the north London club and Sessegnon could be the latest English youngster to make an impact. Spurs may need extra reinforcements in the full-back area if Danny Rose departs and they need to assess whether Sessegnon could make an immediate impact in the first team.
In other Tottenham transfer news, they will have to double their offer to sign their goalkeeper target.
