Aston Villa battle with big guns to sign goal-a-game £12m Champions League striker - report

Aston Villa are involved in a transfer race for Anderlecht striker Lukasz Teodorczyk, according to a report.
The Mirror claims that the Championship club are battling Stoke, Sunderland, West Brom, West Ham and Everton in the race for the 25-year-old forward.
He is currently on loan at Anderlecht from Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev and the report states that he’s valued at £12million by his parent club.
He has bagged an impressive 13 goals in 17 appearances for the the Belgian team during his loan spell and has caught the attention of England’s top flight clubs with his scoring form.
However, the Brussels-based club do have an option to make the loan move permanent and could look to do so soon given his form, while European giants Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen are also watching.

Kiev are in the Champions League, where they are currently bottom of Group B.
Everton may be looking to add a forward player into their squad in future windows with star Romelu Lukaku bagging seven of their 15 league goals this campaign.
The Toffees currently have Lukaku, Enner Valencia, Arouna Kone and Omar Niasse as senior forwards at the club.
However, Valencia and Kone aren’t known for their sharpness in front of goal, while Niasse has been frozen out by Ronald Koeman.
In other Aston Vila transfer news, the club are eyeing this £200,000-a-week midfielder.
