Lazio have made a bid to sign Enner Valencia on loan with a view to a permanent deal, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claim that the Italian outfit are offering West Ham a season-long loan for the versatile forward, plus a fee £10million of at the end of it.

It is believed that Slaven Bilic’s side are looking to recuperate the £12million they paid Pachuca for his services in 2014.

The report says that Lazio will have to revise their current offer as the east London outfit would prefer to sell the player in a permanent move.

If the deal were to go through it would be the second big exit from West Ham, after James Tomkins joined Crystal Palace in a £10million move on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old still has three years left on his current deal at the Olympic Stadium but could be moved on this summer as the club look to bring in a marquee signing to lead the line next season.

The forward played 25 games in all competition in his recently completed domestic campaign and scored six goals and provided three assists along the way.
