Reports: Pochettino adores £25m Spaniard that Tottenham want to sign in days

Mauricio Pochettino “adores” Celta Vigo sensation Pape Cheikh Diop as Tottenham aim to seal the signing of the young midfielder, according to reports.
The Daily Mail claim Spurs are working on a deal to land the Cameroon-born Spaniard, 20, after being blown away by his potential.
It is said that manager Pochettino is convinced that Pape Cheikh has the physical and technical attributes to thrive in the Premier League once he has adapted to the requirements of his coaching staff.
However, the Mail report that the central midfielder has a release clause of nearly £25million included in his contract, which he signed earlier this year and runs until 2021.
Spurs face competition from Lyon for the signature of Pape Cheikh but are in talks to pull off what would be their first signing of what has been a fallow summer in the transfer market to date.
