Revealed: Two Man United stars at loggerheads in dressing room - Sources
Man United superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes are at loggerheads in the dressing room, Football Insider understands.
Two of the club’s most senior and best players have not hit it off on the pitch this season despite playing together widely for the Portugal national team.
A United source has told Football Insider that Fernandes, 27, has struggled to deal with losing his status as the team’s main man to Ronaldo, 36, since his sensational summer return.
There are believed to have been arguments behind the scenes involving the Portugese duo.
It has created dressing room disharmony, which has also been evident at times on the pitch.
Neither Ronaldo and Fernandes are enamoured with the new high-pressing playing style introduced by interim manager Ralf Rangnick.

They believe it does not suit the players at Rangnick’s disposal, many of whom lack the pace and energy to commit to it across 90 minutes.
Ronaldo has been regarded as a playing success with 14 goals from 21 matches in all competitions this season.
Fernandes has been far less effective than in his two previous campaigns at the club.
He has five goals and nine assists from 23 matches in all competitions but has not dazzled since the opening-day hat-trick against Leeds before Ronaldo signed.
Football Insider has previously been told by a well-placed source how “everyone’s fearful of letting Ronaldo down or not living up to his expectations”.
That is not just the case for the young and emerging United players, but also established ones like Fernandes.
