Paul Robinson has backed Liverpool to sell Harry Wilson for at least £15million this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England goalkeeper claimed the Reds will have to sell before they buy in the next transfer window and suggested Wilson, 24, would be a good place to start.

The Wales international spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Cardiff City and impressed by contributing seven goals and 12 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

The Athletic's James Pearce has revealed Liverpool will listen to offers in the region of £15million for Wilson this summer.

Wilson has two years remaining on his contract at Anfield.

When asked by Football Insider's Dylan Childs for his assessment of the winger's future, Robinson said: "I think they will be able to get £15million for Harry Wilson.

"It's a reasonable price for a very good young player. He had a great season at Cardiff and I think there will be Premier League clubs looking to sign him now.

"Liverpool will have to speculate to accumulate this summer. They need to sell players if they want to bring players in and they need to freshen things up in a couple of positions so it's important.

"There might even be a better price or a better deal to be done with Wilson."
