Paul Robinson: This player would be a great signing for Rangers

Birmingham defender Paul Robinson has claimed Jon Toral would be a “great” signing for Rangers as speculation on a potential move increases.
The Scottish Sun claimed Rangers had clinched a loan deal to secure his services for the rest of the season, although that has still to be confirmed.
The Arsenal youngster spent last season on loan at Birmingham and he excelled in the Championship, picking up the club’s Player of the Season award after some impressive performances.
Former teammate Robinson believes he can have a similar impact at Rangers and described the midfielder as “technically excellent” as well as a player who can cause “many problems.”
“Jon’s [Toral] a fantastic talent and will be a great signing for Rangers. He came straight into the team with us at Birmingham and went on to make a real impact last season,” said Robinson, as reported by Evening Times.

“He causes so many problems as he’s an intelligent player. Even in the tightest of areas he will find space as he’s that good. He’s technically excellent.”
Toral has worked under Mark Warburton before and the duo enjoyed a successful spell at Brentford together when they mounted a promotion chase in the Championship.
He then made the move to Birmingham and he has made a lasting impression in the English second tier so its clear to see why Warburton has shown an interest.
The 21-year-old has struggled to adapt to life in Spain and he is currently mid-way through an unsuccessful loan spell with Granada, though reports suggest it could be cut short in favour of a move to the Ibrox.
Toral has featured in just six games for the Spanish outfit and he has started just four games in the league so he is unlikely to feature in their clash against Real Madrid this Saturday.
In other Rangers news, this is why Toral will impress at the Ibrox.
