Rodgers should sign 21-year-old: Three things we learned about Celtic from win v Dundee
COMMENT by Amir Mir
Football Insider analyses the three talking points after Celtic beat Dundee 2-1 in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Crowned champions against Hearts
It is a matter of when not if Celtic clinch the Scottish Premiership title and that day could come away at Hearts on April 2. Brendan Rodgers side put the disappointing result against Rangers behind them to secure a tough three points against a Dundee side that was hard to break down throughout the match. Furthermore, Rodgers can aim for three figures and more than easily reach the 100 points mark for the season.
Rodgers should sign Kerr
Dundee right-back Cammy Kerr put in an impressive performance for his side against a strong Celtic team. The 21-year-old was solid in defence and showed that he had an experienced head on young shoulders. Many of his defensive teammates struggled early on but he was showing, particularly, in the first half how the danger from the away team should be dealt with. When he went forward his ability to find a teammate in the penalty area was also impressive.

To think the 24-year-old has never earned a cap for Scotland is quite staggering. The goal-scoring midfielder has now been called up by Gordon Strachan and there is no doubt that he should start. Stuart Armstrong is hugely underrated in this dominant Celtic team. He netted his 12th goal of the campaign against Dundee, showing he can be in the right place, at the right time.
In other Celtic team news, Chris Davies believes this Hoops icon has the makings of a great manager.
