Ronald Koeman delivers Twitter verdict on Everton v West Brom
By Danny Wright
Ronald Koeman believes that Everton’s next match against West Bromwich Albion is a crucial fixture for the club.
The two sides in seventh and eighth place meet at Goodison Park on Saturday in a tie which could prove important in deciding who qualifies for European football next season.
Thanks to Manchester United’s league cup victory, it would only take a current top six side to win the FA Cup for the seventh-placed Premier League team to earn qualification to next season’s Europa League.
Tony Pulis’ side are just four points behind Everton and could really turn up the pressure if they were to consign the Toffees to back-to-back defeats.
“Big game to play this weekend! Everton v West Brom. Stadium sold out,” said Koeman in a tweet on his personal Twitter account.

Everton lost their first league game of 2017 when they were dispatched by Tottenham on Sunday.
Harry Kane bagged two goals before Dele Alli scored a crucial third in what turned into a squeaky victory for Spurs after Everton scored a second in injury time.
Koeman will now hope that his side can bounce back from the defeat and move seven points clear of the Baggies, further cementing their place in a potential European qualification spot.
West Brom will be no easy visitors though as they have only lost one of their last six matches – a surprise loss to Crystal Palace in their last game.
They also haven’t lost on the road since mid-January when they too were beaten by Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
