Ryan Giggs: Tottenham 29-year-old has reached another level, points to fitness improvement

Ryan Giggs believes that Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele has reached another level this season and feels that his improved fitness has played a major role.
The 29-year-old has been in impressive form this campaign for Spurs and is an ever-present in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
He has built a formidable partnership alongside teammate Victor Wanyama in the central midfield area and the two powerhouses have dominated oppositions.
Manchester United legend Giggs included Dembele in his Premier League team of the season and admits how impressive he has been.
“I have always rated him highly but this season he has gone to another level,” Giggs told the Telegraph. “His fitness is much better and he finishes the 90 minutes.”

Dembele completed 29 league games last season for Spurs, but his campaign was frequently interrupted by injury setbacks.
However, he has featured in 23 league games so far this term and played in the last 12 consecutive top flight matches.
The Belgium international appears to have some strong fitness and is being an important role in the north London club’s pursuit of Premier League leaders Chelsea for the title.
Dembele is regarded as one of the strongest players in England and has his box-to-box style has become pivotal for Spurs.
The midfielder has now racked up 189 appearances for Spurs since his arrival in 2012 and is one of the unsung heroes in the team, with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane taking the plaudits this season.
