'Getting hammered' - Celtic fans rage as Rodgers axes attacker for clash v Zenit

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to blast manager Brendan Rodgers for his decision to axe attacker Charly Musonda from the starting line-up to face Zenit in the Europa League clash at Parkhead on Thursday night.
The supporters also seemed dismayed by the decision to start Callum McGregor instead of the 21-year-old Belgian.
The team was recently announced on the Bhoys’ official Twitter account.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the team selected to take on Roberto Mancini’s side:

The other notable takeaways from the team selected are that Jozo Simonovic keeps his place in the side after his dreadful performance against Partick, Eboue Kouassi starts in probably his biggest game for the Hoops yet and player of the year Scott Sinclair drops to the bench.
Rodgers, obviously mindful of some recent hammerings the Hoops haven taken in Europe, looks to be trying to stiffen the midfield with the selection of Brown, Ntcham and Kouassi.
It seems as though McGregor will be playing behind Moussa Dembele up-front, with Kieran Tierney also playing in more of a forward role.
It is certainly a bit of a selection gamble by the Hoops boss, particularly the selection of the badly out-of-form Simunovic.
In other Celtic news, fans have been reacting to the news that Nir Bitton is out for the season.
