The Magpies are destined to finish in the bottom half of the Premier League table, currently sitting 17 points closer to the relegation zone than they are to table toppers Manchester City.

Given that St James’ Park will be devoid of Champions League football next season, some of the biggest names, such as Anthony Gordon and Bruno Guimaraes, are being heavily linked with moves away.

Eddie Howe is under serious pressure in the North East. While he can win some respect back at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 25 April, Tonali’s future at Newcastle could already be decided by full-time.

Obviously, with Howe under pressure, the Magpies will be doing everything in their power to ruin their title chances, and Tonali could play a huge role in that before a potential switch to North London in the summer.
