Scott Brown has taken to Instagram to take a swipe at Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha after Celtic’s 2-0 win in the Old Firm derby on Saturday.
Caixinha accused the Hoops captain of elbowing Alfredo Morelos in the first-half of the all-Glasgow clash, leading the pair to square up to one another as the teams headed towards the tunnel at half-time.
The Gers boss seemed infuriated with Brown, but after Brendan Rodgers’ side reigned supreme in the mammoth showdown, it was the Celtic midfielder who had the last laugh.
“When you should just listen and not speak,” said Brown on his personal Instagram account on Saturday alongside a picture of him and Caixinha getting into each others faces are tempers flared.
Goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths gave the Bhoys a massive win on Saturday afternoon, which increased their winning streak over the Light Blues to three games while also preserving their incredible unbeaten run in domestic competition.
Celtic are now eight points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership table and five points ahead at the top of the standings as another league title looks a major possibility.
Next up for the Hoops is a trip to Anderlecht in the Champions League, which is no doubt a big fixture for the two teams who are arguably battling for third place in their group which contains giants Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
In other Celtic news, Leigh Griffiths has delivered a Twitter message to the Gers fans after the Old Firm clash.
