Such a feat has only been completed by Fulham boss Marco Silva, who led the West London outfit to a victory over the Reds in April.
Meanwhile, Liverpool beat Arsenal 1-0 on 31 August, and are vying to earn their fourth consecutive victory.
On the other hand, a second win of the season would bolster Burnley's chances of obtaining Premier League survival.
