Hearts fans say the same thing about Wouter Vrancken after Aberdeen comeback
The Jambos lead 1-0 for the majority of the match before two goals in injury time saw the Dons produce an unlikely comeback victory.
As a result, new manager Vrancken has lost all three of his matches since moving to the Edinburgh club after taking over from Derek McInnes.
Earlier this week, the 47-year-old oversaw the club’s exit from the Champions League qualifiers as they were defeated 6-0 on aggregate against Sturm Graz.
Now, after Aberdeen’s comeback against Hearts, many of the Tynecastle faithful have already lost faith in the Belgian.
The Jambos were 90 minutes away from the title last season but have since overseen a mass rebuild this summer.
Hearts fans have already lost faith in Wouter Vrancken
Coming into the club, Vrancken already had a massive task on his hands.
The club was in need of a rebuild after the club were on the cusp of a magical season last campaign.
However, things have gone terribly wrong so far, and the defeat to Aberdeen has left many supporters enraged.
Multiple fans were quick to take to X at full-time critiquing Vrancken’s man management, with some even suggesting that he should be sacked after this woeful start to his reign.
Did Hearts deserve to lose to Aberdeen?
For most of the game, Hearts did look good against Aberdeen.
The visitors had the better of the chances and seemed good on the ball.
However, they simply could not finish the game off, and awful game management at the end has ultimately led to an unlikely defeat.
Vrancken is obviously an attacking type of manager, but when business cannot be taken care of up top, when you are leading, he must look to protect what he has got.
This has ultimately cost Hearts what could have been a valuable three points come the end of the season.
While it is too early to realistically judge Vrancken, he must improve going forward, or Hearts will be quickly found out.
Nevertheless, it remains to see if the Jambos’ fortunes improve as they prepare for a tricky tie against Benfica in the Europa League qualifiers next.
