Multiple League One, League Two and Scottish Premiership clubs are looking to sign former Bromley captain Jude Arthurssources have told Football Insider.

The 24-year-old midfielder is available on a free transfer after he turned down a contract at the Ravens.

Arthurs was subject to widespread interest in the winter window, with Bromley turning down bids from multiple clubs to keep their star man.

However, after failing to pin him down to a new contract, clubs from the EFL and Scotland are now circling to try and pick him up on a free transfer.

Arthurs spent seven years at Bromley, where he was critical to the club’s rise from the National League to League One.

Overall, he made over 200 appearances for the Ravens, 43 of which came in their shock League Two title-winning campaign last season.

Who is Jude Arthurs?

Arthurs came from Gillingham’s academy before joining Bromley in 2019 following his release from the Gills.

He was then soon sent on loan spells at Ramsgate and Lewes before becoming a regular first-teamer at the Ravens at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Over the next few seasons, he would help oversee their rise up the National League table, which culminated in their playoff final victory against Solihull Moors in 2024.

Arthurs netted his penalty in the shootout against the Midlands outfit to help guide the club to the Football League for the first time in the club’s history.

After narrowly missing out on the League Two playoffs in the 2024-25 campaign, the midfielder captained his side to a shock fourth-tier title last season, with the club amassing 87 points.

How good is Arthurs?

According to Fotmob on 30 June, Arthurs had a stunning 2025-26 campaign in League Two.

The midfielder was excellent defensively, averaging 2.80 tackles, 0.76 interceptions, 0.72 blocked shots, 5.00 recoveries and 1.82 clearances per 90 minutes.

As a result, few were better in the middle of the park at regaining possession of the ball and keeping it away from their goal.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen who looks to swoop in for Arthurs this summer, with the midfielder clearly not short of options this summer transfer window.
