Scottish pundit makes 'unbelievable' Hart claim at Celtic after 'absolutely unreal' footage

Alan Hutton has heralded Joe Hart for his “unbelievable” turnaround since joining Celtic this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers defender insisted the 34-year-old is nearly back to his best.

As quoted by the Scottish Sun (27th November), Hoops captain Callum McGregor hailed Hart’s “massive” impact and compared his importance to that of former Bhoys star Fraser Forster.

Hart joined Celtic on a three-year contract from Tottenham this summer.

Hutton admitted he has been blown away by the keeper’s turnaround after a difficult couple of years in his career.

Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “It’s huge praise from McGregor. There’s no doubt that Joe Hart is an unbelievable goalkeeper.

“We’ve seen it throughout the years. I think, probably, his one problem was a lack of games towards the end.

“He’s obviously come up to Scotland, taken a little bit of time to settle but I think we’re now seeing the best of him.

“He’s got that match sharpness. We can see it with some of his saves. He’s been absolutely brilliant, especially that Leverkusen game.

“That double save and the one on the line? It was absolutely unreal.

“He is very much like Fraser Forster, he’s got that big presence within the goal. He’s experienced, he can marshal the backline.

“I still think there’s a little bit of work to do with the back four but Joe Hart is a massive part of why they’re doing well.”

Hart has conceded 27 goals in 25 appearances for the Bhoys so far.

He has 11 clean sheets under his belt this season.
