Tottenham fans are delighted on Twitter after reports claimed that manager Mauricio Pochettino has made a move to sign Morgan Schneiderlin.
The out-of-favour France international has been pushed down the pecking order at Old Trafford behind the likes of Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Paul Pogba.
The Daily Mail transfer blog on Wednesday (11.08) has claimed that Spurs want to sign the former Southampton star, who worked with Argentine boss Pochettino at St. Mary’s Stadium.
The defensive midfielder also played alongside current Spurs pair Victor Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld when the trio were on the south coast together.
Fans would be very happy with the signing after expressing their joy at the north London club’s interest in Schneiderlin on Twitter.

Schneiderlin to Spurs is a good deal for all involved. United don't seem to want/rate him.

Schneiderlin moved to England in 2008 with Southampton and played an integral role in taking the Saints from the third tier of English football to an established Premier League side.
He eventually moved to Manchester United for a huge £24million in 2015, but has played just seven minutes under Jose Mourinho this season.
The combative midfielder has made 44 appearances for the Premier League giants in all competitions.
In other Tottenham transfer news, this Bundesliga star could make a deadline-day move to North London.
