Simon Jordan makes massive claim about Rangers and Celtic
By Amir Mir
Simon Jordan has made a massive claim on Twitter by stating that Rangers are a “bigger club” than their rivals Celtic.
The former Crystal Palace chairman is known for his outspoken views and has offered his thoughts on Scottish football in recent weeks.
He has been particularly critical of Brendan Rodgers side, who clinched the Scottish Premiership title in April, as he compared them to a pub team.
Nonetheless, Jordan has now gone one step further by angering the Celtic supporters once again by claiming that their Glasgow neighbours are a much bigger club.
“I never said Crystal Palace were a bigger club than Celtic, I said Rangers were,” Jordan wrote on his personal Twitter account.

This season, it has been the Bhoys who have been on top as they have already clinched the SPL title and the Scottish League Cup.
As a result, they are on course to secure the treble in Rodgers’ first season in charge at Parkhead with their Scottish Cup semi-final clash against Rangers taking place on April 23.
Celtic have beaten their Old Firm rivals on three occasions during this campaign, first at Parkhead in September followed by wins in the league cup semi-final and the SPL clash at Ibrox.
However, during their previous encounter in March, Rodgers saw his side concede a late goal as the Gers snatched a point away from home.
Now, the duo will meet once again, this time looking to win the bragging rights for their passionate supporters in what will be another feisty encounter.
In other Rangers news, Pedro Caixinha has issued this stern message to Celtic ahead of the Old Firm game.
