The Daily Express have reported that Chelsea and Manchester United are in a £100million tug of war to sign Lukaku this summer.
Meanwhile, Manchester Evening News claim that German heavyweights Bayern Munich have joined the race for his signature.
The forward has become one of the most prolific Premier League strikers in recent seasons and was in great form last year.
He made 39 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees and scored 26 goals in return, while also chipping in with a further seven assists.
Lukaku completed a move to the Merseyside club from Chelsea in 2014 and has become a huge favourite with supporters.
Football Insider verdict:
Lukaku is now ready to make the next step in his career at the age of 24 and you can’t blame him if he leaves Everton, despite the Toffees playing a major role in his development. The forward deserves to be playing Champions League football and a return to Chelsea could be a perfect match for him. Meanwhile, Everton need to ensure that they are drawing up potential replacements for Lukaku as he is going to be a massive void to fill. Ronald Koeman helped his side finish seventh last season, but they could move a step backwards if they don’t replace their talisman.
In other Everton transfer news, the club’s winger is set to consider his future in the summer.
