Imminent Tottenham signing Davinson Sanchez looked like he was heading to Barcelona at one stage this summer, according to a reliable journalist.
The north London club announced via their official Twitter account and website that the 21-year-old centre-back had signed a contact with the club until 2023 with the move now subject to a medical and work permit.

Sanchez will become Tottenham’s first signing of the summer window and if Sky Sports transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol is to be believed then he is a coup for the club after he claimed via his personal Twitter account that the young centre-back looked as though he was going to Barcelona.
Davinson Sanchez great signing for Spurs. Looked like he was going to become Barcelona player at one stage this summer. Still might one day

Barcelona are considered one of the elite clubs in football, meaning Sanchez must have strong potential if they were once looking closely at signing him.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have grown a reputation in recent history for unearthing young gems, including Dele Alli from MK Dons and Eric Dier from Sporting Lisbon.
Sanchez, who has already played 47 times for European giants Ajax will now be keen to become a success in England and be considered a key player of the Tottenham side who are looking to challenge the Premier League title once more.
