Sky pundit raves about two Newcastle players, one was 'big difference' in win v Man United
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has picked out two Newcastle players after their brilliant 1-0 victory against Man United at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.
Newcastle took all three points after Matt Ritchie’s first Premier League goal of the season in the 61st minute left Jose Mourinho’s men high and dry.
Newcastle had to withstand some late pressure but were good value for their win overall, and the three points lifts them to 13th in the table.
After the game Carragher took to his Twitter account to praise two Liverpool stars.
He claimed that Jono Shelvey was the man of the match, but that new goalkeeper Martin Dubravka made the “big difference”.
He also said that he was a huge improvement on the goalkeepers that Newcastle had used previously – Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow.
Shelvey MOM but Dubravka made the big difference. Huge improvement in what Newcastle have had in goal this season. #NEWMUN

Dubravka has signed on loan for the rest of the season but Newcastle reportedly have a clause that enables them to make the move permanent at the end of the season for £4million.
That’s already looking like a steal.
NUFC have a clause in the Dubravka deal to make it a permanent one at the end of the season. £4m is the price negotiated.
