“I’ve gone for a score draw purely because I think Leeds will have a lot of confidence following a wonderful run of performances,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “They’re still waiting for a comprehensive 90-minute display, but the signs that they’ve shown with the likes of Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood, it should put them in good stead.”

Roofe has emerged as an important player in Monk’s side and has thrived in the number 10 role in recent games.

The 23-year-old has shown a great determination since his summer move to Elland Road and finally ended his goal drought against Villa.

Wood has been Leeds’ star player this season and his goals have helped the club become promotion candidates.

The 25-year-old striker has led the line extremely well this campaign and has also shown great composure in front of goal.

He has scored 13 goals in just 23 appearances and will back himself to score against a formidable Brighton defence.

In other Leeds news, this first teamer will not be used again in a wide position.
