Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson reckons there will be plenty of goals when Tottenham visit Leicester on Thursday night.
Tottenham travel to the King Power Stadium for their penultimate Premier League match of the season, having already secured a second-placed finish.
The north London club recorded a comfortable 2-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday, and Merson has backed them to snap up another three points away at Leicester.
However, he believes the Foxes will prove tricky customers for Tottenham, and predicted there to be no shortage of goals as both sides will be pushing for a win.
He told Sky Sports: “I think this will be a good game. Leicester have done alright, and I really think Craig Shakespeare should get the job.
“They nearly got a result at [Manchester] City, and I think there will be plenty of goals in this game. Leicester have a go, and Spurs will go for it too.
“They looked impressive again against Man Utd, and these are two sides with a lot of confidence.”
His score prediction for the tie sees Tottenham run out as 3-2 winners.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been in fine form of late, having lost just once in the Premier League since February 11.
They are also back in action just three days after an emotional farewell, which saw them play their final ever match at White Hart Lane.
However, their last away match ended in a surprise 1-0 defeat to West Ham, but Merson does not believe they’ll fall to a similar fate against Leicester.
The hosts themselves have been in impressive form following the appointment of Craig Shakespeare as the club’s manager until the end of the season, winning six of their last 10 league outings.
