Football whispers: International forward most likely player to join Rangers next (not Morelos)
By Harvey Byrne
Mexico international forward Eduardo Herrera is the most likely player to move to Rangers next, according to a report.
Sky Sports’ transfer section (Thursday, 11.05am) regularly plugs its Football Whispers, which claimed on Thursday that the 28-year-old was the most likely player to follow Fabio Cardoso, Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack and Dalcio through the Ibrox doors.
Mexican outlet Mediotempo claimed last week that the Gers were closing in on the signing of Herrera with clearance from the Scottish FA the only thing preventing him from completing the move.
This has now led to Football Whispers, which gathers all transfer rumours across the globe and calculates the likelihood of them happening to rate the move as highly as 4.2 out of 5 that Herrera will become a Rangers player, with five the highest possible ranking and meaning it is a certainty.
The nine-time capped Mexico international is ahead in the ratings of Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans, who has a rating of 2.7 and Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik, whose rating of moving to the Ibrox giants is 1.5.

There has also been much speculation of Colombian youngster Alfredo Morelos moving to Glasgow with Finnish news outlet Ilta-Sanomat claiming on Thursday that the Gers had reached a preliminary agreement to bring him in.
However, he does not yet feature on the whispers page.
Herrera, meanwhile is currently playing for Mexican outfit UNAM and scored just six goals in 28 appearances in all competitions last season.
In other Rangers transfer news, a report has detailed the Gers’ stance on defender.
