Sources: Alex Iwobi to decide next week about accepting Everton offer

Alex Iwobi will decide his Everton future next week, sources tave told Football Insider.

Iwobi has a long-term offer on the table from the Toffees and was waiting until their Premier League status was confirmed before making a decision on his future.

The 27-year-old will have a year left on his deal at Goodison Park heading into next season and the Merseysiders have offered him an extension to his current contract but his future is yet to be decided.

Sean Dyche’s side confirmed their Premier League status on the final day of the season with a 1-0 win over Bournemouth that saved them from the drop by two points.

Iwobi has been an important part of the Everton side this season and has started all 38 of their top flight games, scoring twice and providing eight assists in those outings.

On 17 March, Football Insider revealed that the midfielder had been offered a new deal by the Toffees amid interest from Premier League and European clubs.
