Arsenal are confident loan sensation Folarin Balogun will soon be worth more than £50million, sources have told Football Insider.

The 21-year-old rocketed above Kylian Mbappe to the top of the Ligue 1 goalscoring charts with a stunning hat-trick for Stade Reims on Wednesday night.

He now has 14 league goals from 20 matches this season to put him above PSG superstars Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Arsenal are in no doubt about the England Under-21s potential and believe he has the potential to be a first-team start at their club even though he has only made two starts in red-and-white among 10 appearances.

There is already talk of elite rivals lining up bids for the 21-year-old, who is a product of the club's academy.

The Premier League giants are convinced Balogun's value will rocket during the coming months, especially if he continues to dazzle in France.

He is regarded by club chiefs as capable of being a £50million-plus star of the near future if he continues the progress expected.

Balogun has excited Arsenal fans with his performances this season and they want to see more of him in action.

The striker has worked his way through the ranks at the Emirates after joining their youth setup back in 2017.

Since then he has been on loan to Middlesbrough and now Reims and could be a key part of Arteta's plans when he returns to London at the end of the season.
