Sources: Bournemouth in advanced talks to sign Leeds United star Davis
Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Leeds United defender Leif Davis, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The Championship outfit are working on a deal for the left-back, 21, after being given the green light by United.
A Leeds source has told Football Insider that Davis is closing in on a season-long loan move to Bournemouth.
Marcelo Bielsa is keen for the highly rated youngster to get regular senior playing experience rather than be a bit-part figure at Leeds.
Davis has been identified by Scott Parker’s side as a top target as they look to recruit a left-sided defender.
The rising star is primarily a left-back but can also move across to centre-back.

He is set to leave United for the season following the £13million signing earlier this month of Junior Firpo from Barcelona.
The Spaniard is a direct replacement for Ezgjan Alioski, who was Leeds’ regular left-back for most of last season.
Bielsa can also call upon the versatile Stuart Dallas to slot in at left-back, as he has on a number of occasions in recent seasons..
The Argentine prefers to maintain a small and tight-knit squad by Premier League standards and does not rotate much in comparison to other top-flight managers.
Davis has graduated from the Leeds youth ranks to make 14 senior appearances in total.
Four of those came last season, including two substitute appearances in the Premier League.
