Sources: Brighton make move to sign Giannis Konstantelias

Brighton are plotting a move to sign Greek sensation Giannis Konstantelias, sources have told Football Insider.

The Premier League club have identified the highly-regarded PAOK Salonica attacker as one of their top targets in the January transfer window.

The Seagulls have registered their interest in a potential deal for Konstantelias, who has a contract that runs until the summer of 2027.

The 20-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists in 15 games in the Greek Super League this season, and has seven goals and four assists across all competitions.

He has also made four appearances for the senior Greek national team since breaking into the side last year, scoring one goal.

The versatile attacker has played at both attacking midfield and left wing this season.

Konstantelias has helped guide PAOK to the top of the table in the Greek first division after making 10 starts from 16 total appearances.

He also made three starts in their successful Europa Conference League campaign this season, where they qualified unbeaten as Group G champions.

Konstantelias has come through the ranks at PAOK since joining in 2013 and has gone on to make 73 appearances in all competitions.
