Sources: Casilla packs his bags and fellow Leeds United big earner expected to follow
Kiko Casilla has been given the green light to leave Leeds United and return to Spain – and he could be followed out by Helder Costa, Football Insider understands.
Casilla, 34, has agreed the terms of a loan move to a La Liga club after slipping behind Illan Meslier in the Elland Road goalkeeper pecking order.
A Leeds source has told Football Insider that Casilla is not training with the first team today and is packing his bags ahead of a move back to his homeland.
This site revealed on 1st April that United were keen to get big-earning Casilla off their books this summer and recruit a new keeper.
His £40,000-a-week contract, signed when he joined from Real Madrid in January 2019, has made it difficult to secure a permanent move to a club willing to match his salary.
A loan will give Casilla the chance to reignite his career and get away from England, where he served an eight-match racism ban last year.

The Spaniard may not be the only high profile United departure this summer.
Leeds are also willing to listen to offers for Costa, and there is the expectation he will push to leave if they succeed in signing a new senior wide player.
That is currently regarded as more likely than not, the source explained.
Like Casilla, Costa is a big earner and his departure would enable Leeds to trim costs and pave the way for new signings.
Meslier has made huge progress over the last 18 months and developed to the point where he is one of the outstanding young goalkeepers in the world.
United are keen to tie down the young Frenchman to an improved contract and see him not only as their number one for next season but for many years to come.
