Sources: Celtic and Wolves in race to sign Nikola Vasilj for £1.25m
Celtic and Wolves are closely monitoring Bosnia goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj, Football Insider understands.
The 26-year-old has just completed an outstanding debut season for St Pauli in 2.Bundesliga after joining from FC Zorya Luhansk on a free transfer last summer.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Celtic, Wolves and West Brom are all in the market for a new keeper this summer.
The trio, along with a number of other clubs, are set to watch Vasilj in action in Bosnia’s upcoming Nations League campaign this month.
St Pauli are braced for interest in Vasilj and he could be available for a cut-price fee of around £1.25million.
Vasilj is eager to take the next step in his career after making a big impression in Germany.
