Chelsea will listen to offers for Romelu Lukaku as he has no future at the club, sources have told Football Insider.

The 29-year-old is set to return to Stamford Bridge in the summer when his temporary spell at Inter Milan expires but is it understood that he does not feature in the Blues' plans going forward.

Chelsea are hopeful of recouping a big chunk of the then-club record £97.5million fee paid to Inter in 2021, but the striker is unlikely to attract a huge-money offer.

Lukaku has struggled with a number of different injuries this season and has managed just two goals in 12 appearances totalling 540 minutes of action.

Inter Milan are paying a reported loan fee of £6.7million for the Belgium international after bringing him back to the club last summer (2022).

It is believed the Serie A giants are interested in re-signing Lukaku on another loan next season.

The former Man United star scored 15 goals in 44 outings as a regular in Thomas Tuchel's side last season but couldn't settle at Stamford Bridge - and went public with his desire to return to Italy.

Joao Felix was brought in on loan as part of their reported £292million January splurge but Todd Boehly is still eyeing an out-and-out striker.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is likely to leave at the end of the season after his lack of game time under Graham Potter.

Chelsea

Chelsea face an uphill battle to qualify for next season's Champions League as their poor form continues under the ex-Brighton boss.

The Blues face bottom club Southampton on Saturday (18 February) with a 10-point deficit to make up on the Premier League top four.
