Sources: Everton defender Reece Welch agrees MK Dons move
Everton defender Reece Welch has agreed a loan move to MK Dons, sources have told Football Insider.
Welch, 19, is well down the pecking order at Goodison Park and new Toffees boss Sean Dyche has given the green light for the centre-back to go out on loan.
The terms of a loan until the end of the season have been agreed and the deal is expected to be completed by the 11pm cut-off.
The England Under-20 international is well regarded at Everton and made his first-team debut in the FA Cup against Boreham Wood last season.
The England youth international has made 17 appearances for the Toffees’ youth side this season but has not provided an attacking return.
In October, the centre-back signed a new four-year contract with the Goodison Park club keeping him there until 2026.

Speaking to Everton TV about signing a new contract, as quoted by The Athletic (4 October), Welch said he wants to kick on in the first team, make a few more appearances and continue to help Everton achieve long-term success.
Director of football Kevin Thelwell said that he hopes Welch will have a “long and successful career” with the Toffees.
MK Dons are currently 20th in League Two with just 25 points from 28 games and are only four points clear of bottom-placed Forest Green.
The Dons are joint on points with the three teams between them and last place but have played more games.
