Sources: Everton plot blockbuster swoop for PL 24-yr-old Ancelotti wants to build team around
Everton are plotting a stunning swoop for Jack Grealish as they look to make him their headline summer signing, Football Insider has learned.
The Merseysiders are planning to be in the race for the Aston Villa captain in the next window regardless of whether his side stay up or not.
An Everton source has told Football Insider that the club believe they can lure Grealish, 24, with the promise of working with an elite manager in Carlo Ancelotti as well as building their team around his matchwinning talents.
Villa face a huge battle to keep hold of their prize asset this summer even if they are successful in avoiding the drop.
Grealish has been heavily criticised in the past week after being caught flouting government social distance guidelines by attending a party at Ross McCormack’s house.
But that will not stop a Premier League stampede for his services this summer.

Man United have been strongly linked with a big-money swoop for Grealish and Football Insider understands they are planning a major bid for him.
Everton’s interest is also strong as Ancelotti looks to assemble a side capable of gatecrashing the Premier League top four.
Grealish has had the best season of his career despite Villa’s troubles.
He has been a consistent scorer and creator of goals, with his 31 matches in all competitions yielding nine goals and eight assists.
The Villa academy product and lifelong fan has a unique association with the club but may be tempted to move to a club capable of winning trophies.
Manager Dean Smith’s job is on the line when football resumes, with Villa 19th in the league and two points adrift of safety.
In other Everton news, it can be REVEALED that the club are set to lose £42m in devastating blow.
