Championship trio Hull City, Huddersfield Town and Plymouth Argyle are eyeing moves for Charlton winger Corey Blackett-Taylor in January, sources have told Football Insider.

Blackett-Taylor is entering the final six months of his contract at The Valley and second-tier clubs are ready to test Charlton's resolve to hang onto the winger.

The 26-year-old has been a stand-out performer for the Addicks so far this season with seven goals and six assists in 21 games across all competitions.

Blackett-Taylor came through the ranks at Aston Villa and was highly regarded at Villa before joining Tranmere on a free transfer in 2019.

He impressed in two seasons at Prenton Park before moving on to Charlton in the summer of 2021.

The winger has since racked up 18 goals and 14 assists in 91 appearances across all competitions for the London side.

Blackett-Taylor is enjoying his most impressive season for Charlton yet in the 2023-24 campaign and is second in the scoring charts for Michael Appleton's side.

But after penning a one-year extension in March, the 26-year-old's contract is now set to come to an end next June and Championship clubs have been alerted to his potential availability.

The ex-England youth international played twice for Aston Villa before leaving the club and has now racked up 165 senior appearances.

Hull City sit eighth in their race for a top-six finish, while Huddersfield and Plymouth are just two and three points above the relegation zone respectively.

Charlton, who have League One top goalscorer Alfie May, sit 10th in the third tier after 19 games and are nine points adrift of the play-offs.
