Sources: Leeds rejected multiple global offers for sensation Summerville as Bielsa plan revealed
Leeds rejected interest from multiple EFL and foreign clubs for Crysencio Summerville during the transfer window, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
Swansea City, Belgian outfit Club Brugge and Dutch Eredivisie duo Groningen and Heerenveen all made enquiries about signing the 19-year-old sensation on loan or in a permanent deal.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Leeds quickly dismissed all offers for Summerville as Marcelo Bielsa has big plans for him.
The wide attacker has been promoted into the first team from the club’s Under-23s this term after an impressive pre-season.
Summerville has been in the matchday squads for Leeds’ opening three Premier League games and has jumped ahead of the likes of loaned-out duo Helder Costa and Ian Poveda in Bielsa’s team.
The winger featured for Leeds against Guiseley, Fleetwood Town and Ajax in pre-season.
