Leeds United have registered their interest in signing Liverpool youngster Mateusz Musialowski, sources have told Football Insider.

Whites boss Daniel Farke is keen to add to his side's attacking options and the club have been making checks on Poland Under-21 international Musialowski.

The 20-year-old, who can play anywhere across the front line, has impressed for Liverpool's Under-21 side this season with six goals and two assists in 11 games in all competitions.

Several clubs have already expressed an interest in signing Musialowski in this month's transfer window, with Leeds now firmly in the race.

Musialowski joined Liverpool from Polish side UKS SMS Lodz in August 2021 and has worked his way through Liverpool’s youth set-up.

The forward - who is yet to make a senior appearance in football - signed a three-year deal upon his arrival on Merseyside, and that contract is due to expire in June.

He has made 80 appearances in total for Liverpool's youth sides, notching 30 goals and six assists from a variety of different attacking roles.

Musialowski has also been capped by Poland at Under-21 level, scoring once in five appearances.

Leeds

Leeds are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements as they chase down Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich for promotion back to the Premier League.

Farke's side sit fourth in the Championship table and are four points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
