Sources: Liverpool 'hot' on signing Bowen and he is 'keen' to join after late-night transfer mission
Liverpool are keeping close tabs on West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen and he is open to joining them in the summer, Football Insider understands.
The 25-year-old further enhanced his reputation with two goals in West Ham’s 2-0 Premier League win over Norwich City on Wednesday night.
A Liverpool source has told Football Insider that their feted recruitment team are closely monitoring Bowen and were at the London Stadium to run the rule over him once again.
It is said they are “hot” on the versatile forward and he is firmly on their radar.
Intriguingly, the former Hull City man is also “keen” on joining Liverpool, the source added, if a deal can be agreed in the summer window.
A January transfer is out of the question for all parties, with the Merseysiders not expected to make any major signings this month.

West Ham are looking to strengthen their attack rather than weaken it and manager David Moyes has made it clear he is in the market for a forward who can provide cover and competition for Michail Antonio.
Liverpool are assessing versatile forwards who can play anywhere across the front line, with Bowen, Leeds United’s Raphinha and Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma among their top targets.
Bowen plays primarily on the right side of the West Ham attack, cutting in on to his favoured left foot.
But he has also been used by Moyes in the centre-forward role this season when Antonio has been unavailable.
The £22million signing from Hull has scored eight goals from 30 appearances in all competitions this season.
Seven of his strikes have come in the Premier League, including five since the start of December.
