Tottenham are exploring potential deals for several striker targets as they look to replace Harry Kane, sources have told Football Insider.

Reports in Italy have suggested Romelu Lukaku, who is still under contract at Chelsea, is an option for Spurs.

However, sources have told Football Insider that the 30-year-old is not towards the top of the shortlist at Tottenham.

Chelsea are desperate to find a solution to Lukaku's situation before the deadline, with the striker not taking part in first-team activities at the club's Cobham training base.

Both Juventus and Inter Milan have been linked with a move for the former Man United star - but he remains a Blues player with just 11 days to go until the deadline.

The struggles of the Serie A duo could open the door for Tottenham to make a move for Lukaku - but only if they miss out on their top-priority targets.

One such target is KAA Gent star Gift Orban, 21, who has already netted six goals in six games in the 2023-24 campaign.

Lukaku managed 14 goals and seven assists back on loan at Inter Milan after forcing an exit from Chelsea last summer (2022).

He joined Chelsea a year earlier for a reported fee of £97.5million.

He managed 15 goals in 44 Chelsea appearances in his last Premier League campaign - with his return to Stamford Bridge now widely condemned as a failure.
