Man United are working on a deal to sign Juventus ace Gleison Bremer and that could pave the way for Casemiro's exit, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that United have made an enquiry about Bremer's situation and Serie A giants Juventus have set a £59.7million asking price to let the centre-back depart

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the Red Devils have to sell players before they can bring in new recruits and could be willing to sacrifice Casemiro if an appropriate offer is received.

The former Real Madrid star, who has made 13 appearances this season amid injury struggles, has been widely linked to a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Bremer, 26, has been a standout for Massimiliano Allegri's side having started all 22 of their league games this season and scoring twice.

He is regarded as a dream signing by United given his calibre, pedigree and experience as well as their team's need for an A-list central defender.

Centre-back Raphael Varane is out of contract at the end of the season which has motivated the club's recruitment department to target an adequate replacement ahead of the new season.
