Sources: Man United plot 'huge' Adrien Rabiot offer
Man United could return for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer as he prepares to become a free agent, sources have told Football Insider.
The Red Devils almost signed the 27-year-old last summer (2022) and reportedly agreed a fee – but his arrival could not be finalised.
It is believed that Rabiot will want a “huge” deal this summer as he looks to cash in on his free-agent status.
Man City are also interested in the France international – and could swoop for his services if a ready-made replacement for Ilkay Gundogan is required.
Football Insider sources revealed on Friday (24 February) that Barcelona are “pushing hard” to sign Gundogan as his City contract runs down.
Rabiot, who currently earns a reported wage of almost £145,000-a-week, has gone public with his desire to play in the Champions League.

Conversely, both Manchester clubs look set to participate in next season’s Champions League.
Rabiot has won seven league titles during his spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus – and was a key man for France as they finished runners-up in the 2022 World Cup.
He has been a regular starter for Juventus this season, notching seven goals and two assists across 29 appearances.
Sources told Football Insider on Sunday (5 March) that Man United will aim to sign three marquee stars in the upcoming summer transfer window.
