Man United are willing to listen to offers for midfielder Scott McTominay this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Red Devils are confident that they can offload the 26-year-old for £25million due to his experience in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag has been told by the Man United board that he'll need to sell players in order to bolster his spending budget for the summer.

Man United haven't made a final decision on McTominay's future, but he is likely going to be among a host of players listed for transfer in the summer.

The Scotland international's current contract with the club runs until 2025, with an option to extend by a further 12 months.

McTominay joined Man United's academy aged five and spent 15 years in the club's youth system, starting as a centre-forward and transitioning to a central midfielder.

After signing his first professional contract with the club in 2013, McTominay had to wait until 2017 for his senior debut, when he came off the bench in a Premier League clash against Arsenal.

Throughout his six years in the first team, McTominay has made a total of 194 appearances across all competitions.

He has scored 18 times for Man United and assisted a further five goals.

McTominay has fallen out of favour under Ten Hag this season, with the Dutchman preferring Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and new signing Marcel Sabitzer to the Scot.

He has made 24 appearances across all competitions but completed a full 90-minute match just eight times.
