Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is top of a four-man striker shortlist for Man United, sources have told Football Insider.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has identified a new striker as a top priority for United this summer, with Anthony Martial struggling with injury and Wout Weghorst only signed on until the end of the season.

Football Insider sources revealed on Sunday (5 March) that United are targeting three marquee signings this summer in order to maintain momentum.

One of those positions will be filled by a new striker capable of making a big impact in Ten Hag's much-improved team.

Alongside Osimhen, United have also listed Harry Kane, Tammy Abraham and Benjamin Sesko as potential summer targets.

Goals haven't been an issue for United, with 77 scored in 40 appearances across all competitions this season.

But the Red Devils have been heavily reliant on Marcus Rashford, whose incredible form this season has taken him to 25 goals in 39 appearances.

Osimhen boasts a similar scoring record with 21 goals in 26 appearances for Napoli this season, including 10 goals in his last nine Serie A games.

It is understood that Osimhen's signature will cost United over £100million this summer. Napoli want to keep hold of him but are aware that bids will arrive at the end of the season.

Kane's signature will also demand a nine-figure fee, with Daniel Levy not keen to sell the Tottenham star to a direct Premier League rival.

Abraham has shone at Roma under Jose Mourinho and the Italian giants have placed a £70million price tag on the Englishman - Chelsea have also shown interest and own a buy-back clause on their academy graduate.

Should other moves collapse, United haven't ruled out a move for Benjamin Sesko.

The 19-year-old is set to move from RB Salzburg to RB Leipzig at the end of the season, but the Red Devils believe the move could be hijacked.
