Sources: Man United to accept 'exceptional' Brandon Williams offer as multiple clubs race to sign him
Multiple clubs are keen on signing Manchester Utd forgotten man Brandon Williams this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old left-back has found himself struggling this season after a serious injury and his only senior appearance came in the EFL Cup against Burnley in December.
Championship clubs are targeting Williams and there is a growing stampede for his signature going into the main window.
It is believed that United are willing to loan out the defender next season in an attempt to reignite his faltering career.
He has a contract that runs until the summer of 2024 and includes the option of a further 12 months.
The United academy product had a stint on loan last season at Norwich City in which he made 29 appearances and was a regular during their relegation campaign.

Williams has missed a total of 149 days through injury problems this season and that has given him some leeway at United, who have sympathy for his situation.
He is being monitored by a number of clubs in the English Championship who believe they could be the best place for him to reignite his career.
Williams has made 51 appearances in total for United since making his first-team debut in September 2019 under Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer, who hailed him an “absolutely exceptional” talent.
He made such a strong impression that the United hierarchy handed him a four-year contract in the summer of 2020.
