Sources: Norwich in pole position to sign Aston Villa star Davis as low asking price revealed
Norwich City are in the driving seat to sign Aston Villa striker Keinan Davis in January, Football Insider has learned.
A Norwich source has told Football Insider that Davis is a top target of new manager Dean Smith and they are currently favourites to take him.
The forward is also wanted by other clubs going into January after struggling for game time at Villa Park.
Ex-Villa boss Smith is a big admirer of Davis, 23, and believes he could be lured from his old club in the upcoming window.
Both loan and permanent options are on the cards, with a fee of £2-4million expected to be enough to prise the striker from the Midlands giants.

Smith regards Davis as capable of forming a strike partnership with main man Teemu Pukki in the second half of the season.
Pukki has provided the main attacking threat for Norwich this season with five goals from 15 Premier League matches.
Davis does not have a great scoring record for Villa, with his 86 matches yielding just six goals and seven assists.
But he does provide a physical presence and has been a regular on the Villa bench of late since recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him at the start of the season.
In the current campaign, Davis has made just a single substitute appearance – in the 1-0 Premier League defeat to Southampton that was Smith’s final match as manager
