Sources: Rangers starlet Robbie Ure wants to quit after being offered new deal on less money
Rangers starlet Robbie Ure wants to quit the club after being offered a new contract on less money, sources have told Football Insider.
The forward, 18, is on a deal that expires in the summer and his future his up in the air despite a goal-drenched campaign.
It is believed that Ure rejected an initial contract offer last month as he has an eye on a potential move in the main summer window.
There was little interest from clubs in meeting Rangers’ asking price in January so he could now leave on a free transfer.
The youngster, 18, has made two appearances for the first team this season, which even included his first professional goal in the Scottish League Cup match against Queen of the South at the end of August.
Ure has also further excelled at youth-team level and has 20 goals and eight assists in total to his name this season.

The five-time Scotland Under-19 international has also made the matchday squad for Rangers on a few other occasions as he looks to make his mark at Ibrox.
Sources told Football Insider last year (31 August) that the Gers were set to open talks with Ure over a new long-term contract.
But the youngster now looks set to follow in the footsteps of fellow starlet Rory Wilson – who departed Ibrox for Premier League Aston Villa in July 2022.
Adam Devine, Josh Lowry, and Leon King are among the most successful next crop of young players to make the grade at Rangers.
All three have been involved in the first-team this season, and King was handed a fresh three-and-a-half-year deal in December.
Rangers sit nine points adrift of rivals Celtic atop the Scottish Premiership ahead of their Scottish League Cup final showdown later this month (26 February).
