Sources: Rangers swoop for Matija Frigan amid £5.2m reveal
HNK Rijeka have put a £5.2million price tag on striker Matija Frigan amid Rangers enquiry, sources have told Football Insider.
Despite enquiring about the forward, the Gers have not made an official bid for the 20-year-old ahead of the summer window.
Frigan will have two years remaining on his contract at the end of the season after signing a senior deal with Rijeka last summer.
The forward has been in talks with Dinamo Zagreb over a potential move and the Croatian club have launched a £3m bid for Frigan but the talks have stalled.
The Croatia youth international has made 31 appearances for Rijeka across all competitions this season and has netted 15 goals and provided three assists in those outings.
Last week (23 May), Football Insider revealed that Rangers have made an enquiry about Frigan’s availability ahead of the upcoming window.
